Fun Days

Fun Days are held the second weekend in June, the 8, 9 & 10 in 2017. Events include a community theatre production, Fun Run, Parade, kid's games, garden tractor pull, horse shoe tournament, bean bag tournaments, food stand and much more. It is a time for class reunions, the Alumni Banquet, family reunions and visiting with friends. Many events are traditional favorites and new events are always welcome. Mark your calendar!

Here is the 2017 Keota Fun Days Schedule

The 2nd annual Glow Run will be October 15th, please refer to the flyer and registration form for more information. The committee made this event a must have, so please spread the word to continue it's success.

Trick-or-Treat will be on the 31st this year. We will start the event off with Trick-or-Treat Up-and-Down Main Street with the businesses. We contract city hall for a full list of participants if you did not receive one from school. The Wilson Memorial Library will have a party at the library from 4:30-5:30 with activities, hot dogs, warm drinks and goodie bag. We will end the night with residential Trick-or-Treat from 5-7 p.m. Please only visit the properties with an outside light on. Please do not allow your children to venture out by themselves or if you feel they are of age to do so, remind them not to talk to stranger and be careful of traffic.

Hometown Holidays

This annual event features food and festivities throughout the community and will be held on December 3rd. The Eaglerock! Cookie Walk starts the day early on Saturday morning, please contact a member to buy a ticket. Wilson Memorial Library will be having Santa and Mrs. Claus at 10:30, but starting at 9:30 there will be crafts, cookies/drinks and a Christmas story will be read. The next part of the festivities is the Parade of Homes Tour from 2:30 - 7:00pm, featured homes this year are: Gene & Lisa Brenneman, Craig & Robin Hansen, Brian & Shannon Greiner and Brett Romoser & Darren Hoffman. There will also be a Christmas Market at Holy Trinity Hall from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. A silent auction for the themed gift baskets, put together by each school grade, will also be going on at the Speech Soup Supper/Festival of Trees; all proceeds go back to teachers/students. The day ends with the speech soup supper & festival of trees at Lagos Acres from 4:30-7:30 p.m., there will be homemade soup, salads, pies, and beautifully decorated trees.

Keota has a rich tradition of support for its many non-profit groups. These groups raise money through a variety of events. Some of them include the following:
