Keota Swimming Pool
The Jacqueline J Singmaster Murphy Aquatic Center is located within Wilson Park and the physical address is 501 S Fulton St. This beautiful addition to the Keota Community features a zero entry pool front that winds around to the deep end of the pool. There is a diving board, a Zip Line and a Rock Climbing Wall to add to the fun!
Hours of operation are: Monday thru Friday, 11:00am to 12:00pm Water Aerobics, 12:00pm to 1:00pm Lap Swim, 1:00pm to 5:00pm Open Swim, 5:00pm to 6:00pm Water Aerobics, 6:00pm to 8:00pm Open Swim or a rental/party when scheduled. Saturday and Sunday 1:00pm to 6:00pm Open Swim. Admission is $5.00 per person, with anyone 2 yr old and under free.
Party/Rentals are available for the Aquatic Center and can be booked through the Pool or at City hall.
Group Swim Lessons are complete for the 2024 Summer Season, but Private lessons can still be requested with one of our lifeguards.

Wilson Park
This city park features a full size ball diamond with fenced in field and dugouts, bleachers,
concession stand, restrooms and batting cage. Nearby is a second small ball field for peewee games.
The fully shaded park and playground has a picnic shelter with a dozen tables, grills, and water.
Kewash Trail
A 14 mile trail, former railroad bed, links Keota, West Chester and Washington. It is open year round for hiking, biking and other non-motorized

Belvadeer Recreation Area
The Belva Deer Recreation Area, a Keokuk County Park is located ten miles west of Keota. Facilities at the 1,600 acre park include
eight picnic shelters, camping area with 56 electric and 11 primitive sites, showers with flush toilets, trailer dumping station, eight miles of hiking and horse trails, seven fishing ponds,
and a 260 acre lake. The lake has a large beach area on the north side of the lake with plenty of space for family gatherings.
There are five cabins for rent that each sleep six and are fully furnished and have restrooms, shower, stove and refrigerator.

Lake Darling
Lake Darling State Park, located approximately 30 miles southeast of Keota, is 1,417 acres in size, including a beautiful 302-acre lake with almost 18 miles of shoreline.
A total of 118 campsites are present, 81 with electrical hookups. The campground has 2 modern rest room buildings,
as well as a conveniently located trailer dumping station. Several cabins sleep four and are equipped with a bunk bed, futon,
and table with chairs. They are located only a short distance from the modern rest room and shower building in the campground.

Coralville Reservoir
Coralville Lake is located approximately 38 miles northeast of Keota. It's primary purpose is flood control for the Iowa River, but it offers exceptional
recreation opportunities that range from camping, hiking and swimming to boating, and fossil exploration. This protected land provides a haven for the native plants and animals that would have otherwise
been displaced by agriculture or urbanization.The Coralville Lake Visitor Center features exhibits on the history and natural resources of the Coralville Lake area.
On display visitors will find a replica of an eagle's nest, actual fossil specimens from the Devonian Fossil Gorge (removed for preservation),
and other exhibits depicting the local plant and animal life of the area. Coralville Lake has three campgrounds with over
500 campsites managed by the US Army Corps of Engineers.
